What does it take to get approved?
- We require an application filled out, color copy of CDL, and last 3 month bank statement. The bank Statement must show no over drafts we look at previous payment history, average bank statement balance and work history. We check references and look at work history. As long as everything checks out, we typically can get you approved within 1 to 2 days.
Can i get approved if I do not have a CDL?
- If you are a non CDL holder and looking to get a truck, we can approve select businesses that are looking to add to their fleet. Please contact us to discuss further.
What other costs will I have to pay?
- There are no additional costs that are paid to Excelerate. What we advertise is what we charge. No mileage charge, or hidden fees. We let you handle and pay your own Insurance, Plates, 2290, and maintenance. We do not have an application fee.
How long before my first payment is due?
- First payment is due 2 weeks after you pick up your truck.
How do I make my payment?
- Weekly Truck payments are setup to auto draft from your bank account that you setup with us on ACH. We do not accept credit cards for weekly payments. Down payments can be made via Cash, Comcheck, EFS check, T-Check, Fleet One Check, Money Order, or Wire Transfer (wire must clear and post in our account prior to being able to leave with the truck). We do not accept personal or business checks or credit cards for the full Down Payment.
Do your trucks come with a warranty?
- We do offer an optional 3rd party warranty available for purchase. Please contact us for details. We do run all of our trucks through a 3rd party shop and have them looked over, DOT'd inspected and road ready. Our customers are welcome to inspect the trucks prior to purchase or have a mechanic come and inspect for them.
How many trucks can I get at one time?
- Initially we will approve for 1 truck, then after 180 days of on-time payment and an updated bank statement we will review for a 2nd truck. Then after 180 days of payments on the 2nd truck we can review for a 3rd truck and so on.
Do you guys have trailers?
- We occasionally get trailers in from time to time, but focus mainly on truck leasing.
Is this a walk-away lease?
-Our goal is for you to own your truck. However if unforeseen issues arise that you are not able to complete your lease, we can mutually terminate the lease if you provide notice, are current on your truck payment, and return it to one of our approved locations with a fresh DOT inspection and in similar condition to when it left. If you do not return the truck to one of our approved locations and abandon it elsewhere we can/will use action provided by law.
Can I hold a truck that I found that I like on your website?
- Once you have an approved application, you can place a $1000 deposit to hold a truck for up to 1 week. The deposit is non-refundable and it goes towards your down payment on your truck.
